I just spent 1 month in my van in July 2026 in Georgia and was so surprised by the country in many ways!
So I felt compelled to put together a small guide about those 4 weeks and everything me and Cesca got up to so you can plan your own trip here! Local knowhow, tips and tricks I picked up, GPX files of all the hikes with a write up, every spot we slept at in the van AND a big write up on the Mestia to Ushguli hike!
I tried to provide this information for a fair value based upon all the knowledge I gained and all the travel tips I can give you, since the internet is a minefield!
People were telling me certain hikes weren’t safe, I couldn’t find the right information about where to stay or even the up to date condition of certain roads, so I put all my findings into this document!
